THE INDEPENDENCE COMMITTEE MADE THE FINAL DECISION!
History is repeating itself, as it did in Gyulafehérvár in 1918.
Romania had 104 years to learn from history, from the mistakes of others, but instead of learning, it has made the same mistakes.
TRANSYLVANIA - PARTIUM - BANAT DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
The Committee for the Independence of Transylvania, Partium and Banat was founded with the aim of supporting and representing the will of the people of Transylvania, Partium and Banat and to achieve, with the help of God, the independence of Transylvania, Partium and Banat from Romania.
The goal of the Independence Committee is to create real peace, not only on paper, but also in souls. We do not want ethnic tensions or civil war, but that does not mean that we will continue to close our eyes, remain silent and tolerate the oppression, exploitation, humiliation, intimidation and threats that Bucharest has been exercising against us for 100 years.
Every year Romania celebrates the great union of 1918, but the citizens of Transylvania, Partium and Banat have no reason to celebrate, because unfortunately in 1920, two years after the union, Bucharest took everything from us. It took away our autonomy, dissolved the government of Transylvania, stripped us of all our rights and established a constitution and laws that do not serve our interests. In short, for 100 years, Bucharest refuses to compromise with us.
Slovaks, Moldavians, Bosnians, Croats, Slovenians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians, Latvians, Estonians - in other words, all Central and Eastern European countries have gained their independence in the last 33 years, only the Transylvanians, Partiumers and Banatians are still subjected to Bucharest oppression and exploitation, and unfortunately this happens within the European Union.
Independence has been the dream of many countries and peoples for the last 1,000 years, citizens of more than 100 countries, including the United States, Malta, Singapore, Brazil, Greece, India, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Cyprus, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Vatican City and many other, have been celebrating their independence for a long time.
We believe that all people are born free, have equal dignity and the right to decide their own destiny and to determine the course of his or her own political, economic, cultural and social development without direct or indirect external interference.
We believe that we have the right to self-determination, the right to establish an independent country, and that this wish must be respected not only by Romania, but by all countries in the world. No one has the right to forbid or prevent us from deciding our own future and that of our children.
We believe that even after 100 years, the citizens of Transylvania, Partium and Banat have the right to express their discontent at any time and to declare their independence from Romania on the basis of the right of self-determination, as we did with Hungary in 1918.
We believe that we can create the most perfect peace and reconciliation between the peoples of Transylvania, Partium and Banat, but not through a Greater Hungary or a Greater Romania, but only through complete independence from both countries.
We believe that we have the right to create a new country where we can create a future worthy of the 21st century for our children, a country that will not belong to one nation but to all nations, a country that will be similar to Switzerland or even better.
We believe that we have the right to create a new country where future generations can live in faith, hope, happiness and love, - where our children will be educated to trust, respect and take responsibility for each other, - where future generations can grow up without knowing the word "impossible", - where all citizens can realize all the wonderful dreams that seem impossible in today's Transylvania, Partium and Banat.
We hereby publicly declare before the world and its countries, governments, organizations with special legal status and all citizens of the world that we believe that all peoples have the right to self-determination, therefore we, Romanians, Hungarians, Germans, Jews, Slovaks, Roma and all other citizens living in Transylvania, Partium, Banat and in the Diaspora, will declare our independence from Romania on June 4, 2023 and on August 15, 2023 we will secede from Romania.
We hereby publicly declare before the world and its countries, governments, organizations with special legal status and all citizens of the world that, as of 25 January 2023, we no longer recognise the Romanian Government as an official government and that Romania is obliged to cooperate with the Provisional Government of Transylvania, Partium and Banat and to hand over its entire administration by 15 June 2023.
Everyone is welcome to join us, on June 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., we will start in 16 cities at the same time (in all 16 counties, in the future cantons, just like in Switzerland) - Arad, Beszterce, Brassó, Gyulafehérvár, Kolozsvár, Marosvásárhely, Nagybánya, Nagyszeben, Nagyvárad, Resicabánya, Sepsiszentgyörgy, Szatmárnémeti, Székelyudvarhely, Temesvár, Vajdahunyad, Zilah and at 12:00 p.m., when the bells ring, we will declare our independence from Romania.
We believe that we do not take anything from anyone, this is the right of our people to self-determination!
